i recently bought a 2000 savage, and waited til i had well over 1000 miles, before i did any modifications.well i opened up the carb and removed the spacer just as they described previously, before i did that i emptied out my muffler, to get the max.power out of it. The removal of the spacer works its a must do.i got better acceleration and top end speed.if anybody has any information on an intake system for this bike...please let me know..
